For our classic and signature cakes we request a minimum of 48 hours. However, weekends are popular party times and our schedule can book up fast. The best answer to guarantee a spot on our production schedule is to reserve your cake a week ahead of time, or more.
Custom cakes anywhere from 2-6 weeks in advance, depending on the time of year. Spring is a very busy period (Communions, Showers, Graduations are all booked on top of our regular birthday cakes) . We recommend ordering your cake as soon as you know the details! Once our weekend schedule is fully booked we are not able to take any more cakes.
Large orders of 100 servings, or more should be booked at least 1-2 months in advance to ensure we can accommodate your event.
We have put together a useful guide here.

We sure do! Local delivery within 1 mile of our shop (Jersey side only) is complimentary with a minimum order of $96, We do offer delivery outside of this area for a fee determined by the distance and location. It is critical that you book delivery early as we are a small operation and can only accommodate a set number of deliveries in a given period of time. Weekend’s book up fast.
We do! We keep a minimum order of $500 for any order that has to cross a bridge, or tunnel. The minimum delivery fee is $125 and may go up from there based upon distance and size of the order.
If we are unable to accommodate your delivery, many of our customers request Uber pick up. We find this to be a very suitable option for single tiered cakes and cupcakes. Just order the Uber and call us to let us know the make/model, and time of arrival and we will organize everything in the car for its travel.
Transporting a cake can be incredibly stressful. If you are ordering a cake larger than 2 tiers highly we recommend opting for delivery. Once a cake leaves our doors we are no longer responsible for the cake, or its condition.
Always place your cake on a flat surface when available. We recommend this over someone holding the cake on their lap. Oftentimes the cake will sit at a slant if held by a passenger. We suggest placing the cake on the floor of the backseat of the passenger side with the seat backed up to hold the cake in place. The second best option is the trunk as long as the cake will not slide around while the car is in motion.
Seasons matter
Winter: If you have the cake on the floor- MAKE SURE TO TURN OFF YOUR FLOOR HEAT- we don’t want to melt the cake here
Summer- It’s hot outside- be sure to run your air conditioning on high to make sure the car is cool before traveling with the cake. - We feel it’s also critical to mention- NEVER leave a cake in a car for any amount of time when the outside temperature is over 68 degrees fahrenheit. The car acts like an oven and heats up very quickly, potentially damaging your cake.
All of our cakes are refrigerated for transport prior to leaving our shop. This means it will need 2-3 hours to come to room temperature (the best way to enjoy your cake)
If your cake/cupcakes are being eaten the next day keep them in the refrigerator until 1-2 hours before your party then place it on display. This will allow your cake to come to room temperature during your celebrations and should be perfect for serving when the time comes.
If you have left over cake, we always recommend cutting up your cake and freezing it by the slice. This way when you feel like a little indulgence you can pull a slice out, let it defrost and relive the moment of a delicious slice.

Choosing the right size cake for your celebration has never been easier! Refer to our handy cake serving guide to determine the perfect cake size based on the number of guests you’ll be serving. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a lavish affair, we’ve got you covered with our range of cake sizes designed to ensure everyone gets a taste of sweetness.
Pro tip: If you have a large party, we suggest getting a smaller cake and then adding cupcakes to your order to make up additional servings. It saves time in cutting and plating when everyone is eager to eat cake. It is also budget friendly since cupcakes are less expensive per serving than fancy cakes. (Highly recommended for kids parties- kids gravitate towards cupcakes, but you can still keep the tradition of a classic birthday cake)
